The Video installation let the story flow out with the smoke consisting of 3 silent films, Cut Finger, Dark Templar, and Noises. For each film, 3 different texts were written in a dialogue form and converted into a subtitle, a kind of linguistic form of video, to create a scene that may be seen as if the projector itself were speaking. Three projectors project the films separately on the 3 walls and are covered with artificial snow as an installation that stages a fictional atmosphere in reality, as if it would have snowed from inside. The work appreciates the beamer as an important part of art, rather than a functional device for artistic action.
In Cut Finger introduces himself as the narrator and the main character, which can be perceived as either the name of a human or an actual cut finger. In the second film Dark Templar, the protagonist talks about his journey of finding value for life in computer games. The third film, Noises, deals with onomatopoeia of the classic film and music industry by letting subtitles, making sounds into words, fade in and out.
The images of the stories hide behind the screen that is full of digital black smoke. The cables of the projector were submerged in snowy weather so that the machine can be seen as a living organism for a short time. In the hiding place, several doors are open, on one side with unclarity and another side with diversity.
